Distributability
Banks can’t use public Git. Regulated industries run air-gapped environments. If governance rules, policies, and tooling can’t be distributed through whatever mechanism a restricted enterprise allows — and versioned regardless — governance programs fail before they start.
- Governance rules and policies must be distributable in restricted enterprise environments
- Must work without access to public Git, standard package managers, or public registries
- Must support air-gapped and highly regulated environments (banking, government)
- Version tracking must work regardless of distribution mechanism
